It has an integrated pump that allows shooters to top off the air cylinder after each shot to get consistent and predictable velocity at all times.

Integrated Pump for Unlimited Air

The Ascent features an onboard pump with an underlever pump handle, making this a unique PCP that will always have a supply of air—enabling it to shoot for hours. For the first fill to full, Air Venturi recommends using an external air source such as a compressor or air tank. After that, simply pumping three to five times after each shot provides consistent performance every time.
