As the name suggests, the Atomic XR is a powerhouse of performance in a diminutive package. It leaves the factory in England as a purpose-built tactical carbine, measuring only 23 inches long and extendable 3.5 inches to accommodate taller shooters. The AR-compatible stock is standard and included. Upon arrival, the American importer transforms the Atomic XR into one of the most potent and versatile air pistols ever made, packed with an array of user-inspired features.

Dial In Your Power

It starts with an Air Superiority Products (ASP) power adjuster offering a range that will impress the most discerning tuner or sporting shooter. With a turn of the wheel at the back of the pistol, you can change .22 caliber energy from 20 foot-pounds to as low as 4 within seconds. Our testing specialist reports 720 FPS with 16-grain pellets down to 250 FPS, using the port power adjustment wheel in concert with the ASP adjuster.

Match-Grade Accuracy & Silent Report

Accuracy from the Lothar Walther match-grade barrel is on par with the best field-target air pistols. The barrel is 1/2-inch UNF threaded to accept a moderator for a silent report.

Shot Counts That Defy Physics

The Atomic XR features a two-stage adjustable trigger with a thoughtfully placed safety. The HUMA-regulated action provides a shot count that defies physics—15 shots on high power and a ridiculous 60 shots on low (in .22). The quick-fill system includes a dust cover and pressure gauge to show the fuel left in the tank.

Built to Perform

The side-lever action is quick and requires almost no effort to operate. The gun comes standard with an all-new, fast-loading 11-shot magazine and a single-shot tray for target work. It includes an 11mm scope rail and reach-forward riser for sight-mounting flexibility. The high build quality is evident throughout, and the one-piece chassis has an integrated Picatinny rail for a bipod or other accessories.
